Journal of Life Sciences is an international, scholarly and peer-reviewed journal (print and online) published monthly by David Publishing Company, USA which was founded in 2001. The Journal seeks to bridge and integrate the intellectual, methodological, and substantive diversity of life science scholarship, and to encourage a vigorous dialogue between life science scholars and practitioners. The Journal welcomes contributions which promote the exchange of ideas and rational discourse between practicing workers and life science researchers all over the world. To this end the Journal publishes original articles on empirical and theoretical studies, research reports, commentaries and book reviews that attempt a systematic analysis from different viewpoints and approaches. The journal is published in English and Traditional Chinese. The e-journal provides free and open access to all of its content on our website. Accepted papers will immediately appear online followed by printed in hard copy.?

The journal was founded in 2007. Focusing on the space "where science and society meet," the journal offers fresh analysis and commentary about the impact of biotechnology and the other bio sciences on business, policy, and culture. The Journal's intelligent, incisive, and skeptical editorial style helps readers keep up with the changes in the life sciences, which will soon affect nearly every aspect of modern life, from the food we eat to the way we approach diseases, clean the environment, and defend countries from terrorism.?

New empirical and theoretical work, as well as critical and exploratory essays that emphasize the molecular, cellular, and functional basis of therapy will be featured. The journal publishes scholarly, research-based articles on life sciences. The journal publishes full-length original research articles and mini-reviews. We would welcome manuscripts on all aspects of life sciences, such as: bioengineering; biotechnology; biochemistry; cell biology; life science education; biomedical science; microbiology, toxicology, neurobiology, immunology; developmental biology, neuroscience, molecular biology, genetics, genomics, bioinformatics, and proteomics; other topics on life sciences.

美国《生命科学》（Journal of Life Sciences）期刊，于2006年12月由留学美国东部地区的中国学者及有关专家在纽约申请创办，已经于2007年下半年创刊。刊物由在美国取得较大学术影响力的美国大卫出版公司出版，在全美公开发行。本公司1999年8月以来先后在纽约和芝加哥兴办了多种学术期刊，刊物覆盖理、工、农、医、经济、管理等十多个学科，已经创刊并被美国学者广泛阅读的15种学术刊物，十年来在国会图书馆的亚洲阅览室、法学图书馆阅览室、杰斐逊大楼阅览室、亚当斯大楼阅览室等深受欢迎；尤其是中国教授学者的积极参与，促进了中国学术同国际上的交流，在中美两国获得到了非常好的社会反响。此外公司已经开展了和国内、外知名数据库公司的合作，现已签署收录协议的主要包括：
